This over-size (roughly 12" X 15") large scale (1:150,000) atlas is spiral-bound for convenience. The boundary and the seat are shown for each kreis, district and province along with the usual roads, rivers, railroad tracks, and forested areas. The index of place names covers 90,000 German communities giving the postal code for each. The place names are followed by page numbers and co-ordinates (letters and numbers) indicating the grid section on the map.
